Why is it most logical - because on Cmd-Tab menu you imagine applications are horizontally and windows are vertically - like on PSP menu. You can also use arrows in Cmd-Tab while holding Cmd Now just select your window using arrows and press Enter There are also 3rd party utilities that improve OS Xs window switching capabilities check out Witch for instance. Its not ideal, but sort of tolerable for me, although Id still prefer Cmd-Tab toggling between all windows.
